In order to get the absolute best results out of your photos is to find a genuine connection between you as the client and me as your photographer. I will do my best to understand and work around your specific needs to make sure you not only have fun, but feel comfortable and happy with the outcome. Whether this is your first time standing in front of a camera or not - I have you covered. I will make sure to guide you every step of the way with easy to understand prompts and ideas for poses that will get you out of your shell.
If you already have a specific creative idea you want to bring to life, that's exactly what we are going to do! Let me know ahead of time, and provide any example images and we can discuss how we can put your own little spin on it.
I believe that when you hire a photographer, you are investing in your memories.
What to Expect
Once you are ready to go ahead and book your session I will send you a breakdown of how the shoot will go as well as a short questionnaire that will help me to better understand your wants and expectations for our time together. We will take the time to discuss What To Wear, if you need any advice, as well as some Location Options that suit your vision best. If you already have a location and outfit in mind, then you're just 10 steps ahead and i'm here for that!
My biggest goal is to make sure you have an amazing day and leave the photoshoot with a huge smile on your face. The memories made are just as important as the ones captured, so we will make them good ones!

How do we book?
Super easy! You can simply contact me through the website by clicking on the CONTACT tab in the menu. You can also check out my social media and send me a DM directly @simonatrosmanphotography.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within two weeks of your photoshoot. You can download all the photos from the gallery in high print quality.
Photoshop & Editing
My packages include hand-crafted colour editing and minor retouching. I can work with blemishes, and small details that can be colour manipulated but I will not edit bodies, faces, etc. This means that I do not use photoshop to alter my images. My goal is to take candid, lifestyle images which means I capture reality and do not alter it.
I'm not a model and don't know how to pose. Will you help with this?
Whether it is for branding, or family photography, I come prepared with all creative ideas. I will put together a mood board before our session so we have some ideas to go off of. I suggest you do the same so there is no reason not to get the perfect shot.
What is required to book a session?
Once you have decided on a date and time, I require 50% of the session fee as a deposit and a signed photography contract to reserve your session. On the day of the photoshoot, the other 50% will be required before we begin.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I currently work out of York Region within Ontario. I am available to travel within the GTA with a 1 hour driving distance limit. Because I stay within a certain area I do not charge extra for KMs driven. My travel perimeters will hopefully be changing in the future to include a larger area as well as out of Country.
Do you offer Wedding Photography?
No, I currently do not offer Wedding day options. I am happy to do Engagement and any Pre-Wedding event photos.
Do you do Newborn Photography?
I am happy to do lifestyle newborn photography as part of Family photos. I do not offer studio newborn sessions at this time, as well as any wraps or baby props. This will need to be provided by the family.
